Collaboration with Peaches Publishing

Talented peer and friend Choirstaidh McArthur established her company Peaches Publishing in late 2018 and it has been growing from strength to strength ever since. Peaches Publishing is a Glasgow based zine publishing company and media platform which celebrated multidisciplinary art forms created by a diverse group of creatives. It aims to raise up the voices of self-identifying women and LQTBQA+ people while rejecting, analysing and celebrating femininity and all it’s facets.

I was therefore thrilled when Choirstaidh asked me to submit work to the peaches punnet and contribute to her series of collaborative artist zines. My submission was a combination of poems and paintings exploring themes of bodily politics, sex, love and feminism which Choirstaidh then digitally edited to create a cohesive artist zine.
